"It's a fierce world out there" as our teachers warned (or scared) us weeks before that graduation march back in high school. Well, they're BLOODY right. College was the welcoming pass for me towards the real world. A world full of battles, competition, and strive to become better than everybody else. Wo-Hoo! Suddenly people are hating the good-looking individuals even if there's no single sign that they exist in that person's universe, those who were rich are treated differently from the rest, or the smart ones always on the lookout for possible threats (in this case, every trimester). You can always tell who the gifted ones are and they make sure that you feel you’ve got a lot of sh*t to catch up...
Personally, its all troublesome to even commit myself to such dumbness, I just observe these people doing their stuff and was astounded to discover their greatest flaw; and that is "Specialization", you know, when she's good at class but she's not with interpersonal skills, or that basketball duff being good in hard court but the quizzes result won't synchronize with the points, most cases are the extra-curricular people who's in every contest but times like presentation or reporting, the audience's gaze just pass through their skull and straight to the white board (Boredom-Inclined)...
They say "No one's perfect" Yep, but this one's different, its about the natural prowess to be good in every field present, or being good in most field (but not all)...you know, the "Jack of all Trade, Master of none" curse? Sounds cool at first but the tendency of people born under this Rite is; they will keep on searching that one thing that will satisfy their hunger for performance, but they don't. Everytime they reach that point, somewhere deep inside, the demon is urging there's more to try, more stuff to prove your self...
Some claim that they've found their calling after countless trials, say, in Cooking, Photography, Formula 1 Racing, Film, Porn Star Roles (kidding), Hiking, Writing, Falling Madly In love, Singing, Dancing, Joining the Marathon Club, or simply landing that dream job, But the demon seem to be drinking EnSure everyday, for it won't bloody retire yet...

I just think you need to try hard, man. In everything. But, of course, you can't try give it all if you don't have any real interest and determination at what you're pursuing.
Though I have a cousin who seems to be a Jack of all Trades, Master of Some. He's just adventurous. He's pretty decent at any sport and in class. But he's also a top notch drummer.
